Register for upcoming Agworkforce summit
The Queensland Agworkforce Summit will be held on from 3rd-5th August 2022.
This virtual event brings agribusinesses together to discuss workforce issues and strategies for sustainability.
It will be presented by the Queensland Farmers’ Federation (QFF) in partnership with Jobs Queensland and the Queensland Government.
Agribusinesses across Queensland, including Owners, CEO’s, Operation Managers, Human Resource Managers and Business Managers who are looking to innovate, attract, train and retain the current and future generation of people in their businesses are invited to attend.
The Summit will feature a presentation about the five-year Workforce Plan for the state’s agriculture sector, including the consultation process and results.
The Plan will respond to the major issues experienced by the industry while anticipating future workforce demand.
These issues being explored are adaptability, attraction, retention and skilling.
