Allora 81 (29.2) defeated by Wheatvale CC 0/84 (12.2) by 10 wickets

Allora were asked to bat first again on a warm Slade Park Saturday afternoon.

Will Ole was the only man to cross double figures, finishing with 23 off 27 in a 38 run partnership with Liam Wren (9 off 33). The middle and lower order struggled again after the partnership was broken, dismissed for 81 in 29.2 overs.

The second innings started positively, a tough chance went down behind the stumps off the first ball of the innings. The Green Ants bowlers toiled hard for 12.2 overs, but were outclassed by the defending champions openers, headlined by a Lachie Boal 63* off 47.

Allora have the bye next week, followed by a huge last round fixture against Warwick Hotel Colts on Saturday February 14.
