Roundabout for Allora
To improve safety for all road users the Dept of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will construct a roundabout at the intersection of Warwick and Forde Streets in Allora.

There have been several crashes at this intersection in recent years, and this project aims to improve safety for both town-based traffic and traffic travelling through the area.
The roundabout will further improve safety by introducing consistent give-way rules at all legs.
Other safety improvements include: Reduced speeding in the north–south direction, and through the intersection.
Improved pedestrian safety by installing zebra crossings at all roundabout legs.
Improved connectivity for all pedestrians with footpath and connecting ramps at all corners of the intersection.
Motorists from every direction will slow down as they approach the intersection and give way to vehicles already on the roundabout.
This will be a change from traffic on Forde Street previously having right of way at the intersection.
The roundabout’s central island will be small and easy for motorists to navigate, including heavy vehicles approved for this route.
Construction is expected to start in August 2025 and is scheduled to be completed by December 2025, weather and conditions permitting.
