Sadie’s Day Out
From 1pm, a special fundraising celebration is being held at Cambooya State School this Saturday, 7 June, for what would have been the sixth birthday of Sadie.
To the shock of the Cambooya community, Cambooya State School student Sadie (pictured right) tragically died in a car crash at Vale View a few weeks ago.
Organisers Kelly Sutton and Mandy Walker have asked people to come dressed in colourful clothes and bring your family, friends, picnic blanket and joyful spirit.
The afternoon will include Pig Races, Raffles, Home Bake Stall, Sausage Sizzle and Roast Dinner, Weaving Workshop, Aboriginal Face Painting, Games and Races, Skateboarding Workshop and Hola Hooping, Jumping Castle, Balloon Release Tribute and Live Music.
