RSL Sub-branch Vice President, Nev Cullen, said the enthusiasm from the school teachers and students had been outstanding.

Mr Cullen has been working with the program Co-ordinator, Debbie Smith, to bring this opportunity to schools across the district including a recent visit to St. Stephen’s Primary School.

The students each chose a soldier from the Pittsworth region and conducted a detailed record search and created a concise profile of them.

They will now have the opportunity to represent the soldiers on ANZAC Day by wearing name and medal plaques in the local march and laying a wreath at the ceremony.

Mr Cullen and Ms Smith, presented certificates to the Year 6 students who took part in the program.
