Successful event helps pay for Hall Insurance
On behalf of the Goomburra Town Hall Committee, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous support of our 2026 Go Pink Trivia Night.
Your donation, whether it was a raffle prize, sponsorship of team prize money, catering assistance, advertising or a general prize helped make the evening a wonderful success.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters and the enthusiasm of everyone who attended, we were proud to donate $976 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Just as importantly, the event also raised $3,964 towards the ongoing insurance of the Goomburra Town Hall.
For many people, our hall is simply a venue. For us, it is the heart of our community.
Keeping a 120-year-old community-owned hall open is becoming increasingly challenging, with our building and public liability insurance now costing $6,450 this year.
Through the continuous fundraising efforts of our volunteers and the wonderful support of our community throughout 2025–2026, we were able to meet the full cost of our annual insurance.
Your generosity helps us continue to provide a welcoming place for community gatherings, concerts, celebrations, meetings, workshops and fundraising events, while preserving an important part of Goomburra’s history.
Thank you for believing in our community and helping us keep the doors of the Goomburra Town Hall open.
