Sunflowers selling at Aubigny for a good cause
Sunflower lovers will get the chance to view a field and purchase their own for just $5, all in the name of domestic violence prevention.
The sunflowers will be available for purchase at 91 Ciesiolka Road and cost $5.
All money raised will be donated towards the Allison Baden-Clay Foundation.
Allison was killed by her husband in Brisbane in 2012.
The Foundation aims to educate the community about family and domestic violence and empower them to aid in prevention.
Its funds go towards the development of programs that educate the community and provide them with the tools to help prevent family and domestic violence.
Property owner Katie Byrne says she chose the foundation as May Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.
The sunflowers can be viewed and purchased at the following times.
Friday: 9am until sold out at Bunnings Ruthven St
Saturday: Open Day from 7am-10am in-field at 91 Ciesiolka Rd.
