TADOMS supports LifeFlight

Members of the Oakey-based Toowoomba and District Old Machinery Society Inc. (TADOMS) have always admired the work of LifeFlight and have shown their appreciation in a tangible way.

TADOMS has been a supporter of LifeFlight at various times over many years.

Just ahead of their Christmas break at the end of last year, Thursday December 18 to be precise, several TADOMS members presented a $1,000 cheque to the LifeFlight Toowoomba branch.

The donation was made because TADOMS members believe LifeFlight does an incredible job within the South-East Queensland region with helicopter rescue operations.

“This is such a fantastic organisation that requires a lot of support from the community as they do amazing work in life saving health care,” TADOMS president Peter Cameron said.

TADOMS is a club that is now based in Oakey, and its mission is to promote the interest and preservation of old machinery.

“We have one show a year displaying many types of old machinery,” Mr Cameron said.

“This year it will be at the Oakey Showgrounds on Saturday, the 5th of September.

“(It is) a show not to be missed!”
