Ten lots proposed in Cambooya Ridge estate
A parcel of land in the Cambooya Ridge Estate originally planned to be a shop could instead become ten residential lots.

A Reconfiguring a Lot development application has been submitted to Toowoomba Regional Council requesting to change three lots into ten lots at 1-3 Harrow Street, 2-6 Ridge Drive and 21 Fairfax Street, Cambooya, with the subject land also bordering Bishop Street.
The application proposes to reconfigure three lots totalling 5,911m2 to ten lots ranging in area from 542m2 to 732m2.
A planning report submitted as part of the application notes development in the immediate locality consists exclusively of residential development.
The planning report says the subject land at 1-3 Harrow Street received approval for Development Permit for a Material Change of Use for a Food and Drink Outlet and Shop on 11 October 2018.
“The development approval has not been carried out. It is noted the currency period of the development approval ends on 11 October 2026,” the planning report says.
A Conceptual Stormwater Management Plan, Engineering Services Report, Traffic Impact Statement and Road Traffic Noise Assessment were all submitted as part of the application.
