Theo's new look for a good cause

“He’ll need to wear a name tag,” one resident could be heard chuckling as the last of Theo Moller’s beard disappeared on Monday 31st October as part of a fundraising Shave for a Cure event at Grange Country Villas.

Jesse from Beauty and the Beard did the shave before a gathering of residents who cheered on Theo.

Local fundraising has contributed funds to the Leukaemia Foundation for the  furnishing of a laundry at the Dutton Park village in Brisbane and at a room known as ‘The Pittsworth Room’ at the Clem Jones Sunland Village at Springwood.

“The money we are saving for now is to furnish a unit at the Village Green apartments at Bowen Hills,” organiser Ros Scotney said.
