Three injured in highway crash
Three people sustained injuries in an almost head-on a crash on the New England Highway at Cambooya mid-afternoon on Saturday.

Just before 3pm a Chevrolet Corvette travelling north and a Mercedes sedan travelling south collided at the turning lane from the highway onto Cambooya Connection Road.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged and a third vehicle sustained minor damage.
The male driver and a male passenger in the left-hand drive Corvette sustained cuts and abrasions while the male driver of the Mercedes sustained cuts and abrasions and a suspected fracture to the left arm.
A female passenger in the Mercedes escaped injury.
Despite the damage the occupants of both vehicles were able to get out of the cars without assistance.
A crew from the Queensland Fire Department secured the vehicles before tow truck operators moved them.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the three injured people at the scene before transporting them to Toowoomba Hospital.
All were reported to be in a stable condition.
Police investigations into the crash are continuing.
