Top Award For Southern Cross Care Allora
Each year the Queensland Government conducts an audit into Aged Care food ratings throughout the State.

In 2023 Southern Cross Care Allora was awarded second place but this year they went one better taking out the highest score in Queensland for Aged Care Food Standards with a rating of 3.88.
The rankings are a combination of judging by the residents and their families along with survey feedback, external compliance assessments and auditors’ reports during site visits.
Each day approximately 132 meals are served with additional snack foods three times a day to the Homestead and the Nursing Home.
The win is a credit to the hard working staff in the kitchen and a huge achievement by Chief Cook Vivienne Ziser and her dedicated staff at the Homestead.
