Truck rollover on dangerous road
A driver escaped serious injury when his truck overturned on a gravel road at Felton mid-morning last Friday.
Senior Constable Stephen Johnson from Pittsworth Police said the road was notoriously dangerous with loose gravel and deep corrugations, and the truck had rolled on a bend. No charges would be laid, Senr. Const. Johnson said. The driver, aged 67, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The accident occurred shortly after 10am on Homestead Road at Felton and was attended by fire, ambulance and police crews.
