Truckies’ mental health day returning
Following a successful event last year, a Mental Health Awareness in the Transport, Rural and Civil Industries will be held Rudd’s Pub in Nobby.
Long Road Events, in conjunction with Rudd’s Pub, will be holding the event on Saturday, 11 October from midday.
Event coordinator Shirley King said the day will encompass a huge range of services, live music, guest speakers, fun activities, raffles, door prizes and lunch.
“We are encouraging local businesses and social groups to join us for the day,” Ms King said.
“If you would like to register as a sponsor for the event we would really appreciate your support.
“Last year we raised over $12,000 that went directly to a community support service called ‘Our House Our Haven’.”
