Twenty years of service
Angela Skillington has been recognised for 20 years of service to Catholic Education Queensland.

The last 17 years Angela has been at St. Francis De Sales School, Clifton.
On assembly last week, Angela Skillington was handed a trophy to commemorate her years of service.
Principal Brendan Redinger, who presented the award to Angela, couldn’t speak more highly of her impact on the school community.
“Angela is a valued member of the school community who supports students and staff through her dedication and commitment. She makes a positive contribution to the school environment and helps foster a culture of learning, respect, and growth,” he said.
Angela is currently working with prep and year one helping the youngest of St. Francis De Sales learners prepare for their schooling journeys.
“I feel incredibly blessed to have partnered with so many wonderful families in the Clifton community over the years. This recognition is a lovely reminder of the journey, and I hold so many special memories of my time here close to my hearts,” Angela said.
As far as what has kept her around so long, for Angela, it's the kids.
“Without a doubt the children,” she said.
“There is nothing quite like the joy of teaching a child to read and watching that spark ignite.
“My passion has always been helping students achieve their fullest potential - not just academically, but spiritually, socially and emotionally as well,” Angela said.
