Wattles Girls' Sensational 10 try Success
Wattles ‘All In Electrical’ Under 15 Girls League Tag team can be said to have brought home the bacon after dealing out a 44 – 4 to the Goondiwindi Boarettes at Warwick’s Collegians Grounds on Saturday.

Proud coach George Berry highlighted the girl’s performance, “the team played probably the best two halves of league tag they’ve played all year.”
“They stuck to game plan, which focussed on completing sets, defend well and spreading the ball when opportunities presented.”
“It was such a team effort” enthused Coach Berry, “with the forwards making metres off every run and creating so many opportunities for our backs.”
Wattles kicking game was excellent, two tries being reaped from kicks, and valuable ground gained and backed up by a healthy kick-chase.
Very special memories for both Ciena Nielsen and Priseis Williamson, both scoring their debut tries of the season.
