Wattles Juniors Celebrate a Year of Achievements

The Wattles Junior Rugby League Club players, officials, parents and community gathered in wonderful weather at Platz Oval on the morning of Sunday, 14 September to celebrate a very successful 2025 junior season.

President Aaron Gilmore thanked all involved in assisting the club to another year of achievements.

The club is proud of the Under 15 Girls league tag team that secured premiership success, while the Under 17 boys team qualified for the Toowoomba Junior Rugby League Semi-Finals.

The boys Under 13/14 Development Cup side and Under 15 squad both qualified for the Preliminary Finals.

Outstanding emerging talent Patrick Denny was named Footballer of the Year on the end of a sterling junior rugby league career.
