No races?... No worries!
After days of variable rainfall, the Clifton race track was deemed to be a safety risk, causing the cancellation of the five galloping events scheduled by the Clifton Jockey Club for Saturday, but that didn’t deter a large crowd who look forward to one of the district’s major social events every year.
Of all of the categories in the annual Fashions on the Field competition, the most hotly contested are arguably the Ladies Classic and Contemporary titles and this year again, the judges were confronted with a tough task.
