State Government move to streamline mining approvals to prevent another Acland Stage 3
The State Government has introduced reforms to Queensland Parliament that aim to reduce the amount of time spent on mining lease applications, including removing the right of parties based more than 125 kilometres away from a mining lease boundary, like Lock the Gate and Oakey Coal Action Alliance (OCAA) Secretary Paul King, to object.
